Tottenham Hotspur fans have been on social media reacting to the form of on-loan midfielder Marcus Edwards.
Edwards, who came through the youth system at Tottenham, is currently on loan with Dutch outfit Excelsior.
The 20-year-old has been a regular for the Eredivisie club this season and continued his impressive form against FC Emmen on Sunday.
Indeed, Edwards scored and provided an assist in his loan side’s 2-1 victory, which led to a number of Tottenham fans commenting on his performance.
Edwards has scored 10 times in 28 appearances for Tottenham’s Under-23 side, but is still waiting to make his first-team debut for the Premier League club.
The Spurs supporters have been on social media debating Edwards’ form whilst out on loan, with many claiming that there should be a spot for the Englishman next season.

For now, though, the England Under-20 international will be concentrating on finishing the campaign strongly before returning to his parent club this summer.
